Program pengelola berkas berarsip (arciver Program) selama ini kita kenal dengan rata-rata adalah program yg mampu mengelola arsip berformat ZIP dan RAR. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi komputerisasi dan semakin besarnya ukuran data berkas yg musti disusun dalam satu bentuk arsip sehingga banyak para pengembang program yg mengeluarkan standar tersendiri ukuran keperluan masing-masing program dan berkas yg mereka buat. Misalkan kita ingin membuat cadangan berkas dari CD program dengan menggunakan program pembuat/salin CD seperti Nero Burn dengan pengelola arsipnya menggunakan format NRG, atau saat kita download dari internet untuk program master instalasi sistem operasi linux rata-rata menggunakan format ISO. bisa juga dengan Format TAR, BZ2 dan lain sebagainya.

Dengan banyaknya Format arsip yg digunakan oleh para pengembang program tentu kita yg membutuhkan berkas yg tersedia membutuhkan program yg mampu membaca masing-masing format arsip yg kita peroleh. Dalam artikel sebelumnya ada program yg mampu membaca dan mengatasi berkas berarsip yaitu 7Zip. Program 7Zip mampu membaca banyak format Arsip yg beredar saat ini, namun terasa kurang karena tidak ada kotak pembaca sementara seperti halnya program pembaca format arsip berbayar.

Program pembaca format arsip yg menyediakan kotak pembaca sementara untuk berbagai macam berkas berasip salah satunya adalah program Izarc. Program Izarc mampu membaca berbagai macam jenis format arsip, diataranya :
